Crafting Seamless Workflows for Product Safety and Compliance
Simplifying compliance workflows through UX: Designed a scalable platform integrating service requests, test result management, and stakeholder communication while addressing global regulatory needs.
Designing for a global organization’s complex internal workflows requires a deep understanding of user needs, regulatory requirements, and operational efficiency. I led the UX design efforts for a platform that streamlined interactions between quality and compliance labs and Amazon, creating an end-to-end experience for processes such as service requests, bidding, test result management, and product compliance validation. My role involved collaborating with cross-functional teams, gathering requirements from diverse stakeholders, and translating them into intuitive design solutions.
One of the core challenges was ensuring that the platform catered to global regulatory standards while being adaptable to specific regional requirements. I conducted user research to understand how different stakeholders—internal teams, external labs, and service providers—interacted with the platform. This research informed the creation of clear, scalable workflows that eliminated inefficiencies and minimized manual interventions. Additionally, I developed UX guidelines to standardize the design process, ensuring consistency and long-term adaptability.
The platform design prioritized user productivity while reducing low-value work for associates and compliance experts. By focusing on task automation and user-centered design principles, the project achieved its goal of simplifying complex compliance processes while safeguarding product safety and regulatory adherence.
